Haseon Park is a 3rd-year doctoral student in the Department of Advertising & Public Relations from the College of Communication and Information Sciences. Her research interests lie in the intersection of advertising in emerging media and computational social science. Primary focus of her research dives deeper into examining how consumers build sustainable relationships with brands in emerging media platforms, such as social and mobile media, and integrating computational and experimental research methods to extend the scope of advertising research.
Her work has been published in notable peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Marketing Communications, Computers in Human Behavior, Journal of Interactive Advertising, Cyberpsychology: Journal of Psychosocial Research on Cyberspace, and International Journal of Mobile Communications. Maintaining active memberships at American Academy of Advertising (AAA) and Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC), she presented multiple papers at the annual conferences of AAA and AEJMC over the graduate career.
